March 26th 2008 marked the one year anniversary of XYRocks Podcast. This being said, I decided I would pick a Season One Band Of The Year.Over the past year, I have listened to hundreds of bands while trying to put together XYRocks! Out of all the bands I played on the show, Better Than Toast's album "Get Down" made it into my truck and has yet to be replaced by any other CD. Since I don't listen to the radio or my iPod when I'm driving, I just crank up Better Than Toast. I figure that's worthy of my pick as XYRocks! Season One Band Of The Year

I haven't had a band grab my attention like this since Blink-182. Check them out and buy there album - "Get Down". Every song kicks ass!!!

1 - The New Rock Chemists are not the first UK listeners, they are the first UK myspace friend for XYRocks.
